Understanding Trends Community Service in 2024: Landscape by Scopus Database

This study aims to identify and analyze research trends in the field of community service based on data obtained from the Scopus database in 2024. A total of 383 documents were found and analyzed based on various aspects such as publication year, source, affiliation, country/region, and document type. The results showed that the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, and Canada were the most active countries in this study, with institutions such as the University of Melbourne and the University of Toronto as the main contributors. The majority of documents were articles (305), followed by conference papers (26) and book chapters (25). This analysis provides important insights into the geographical and institutional distribution and the most common document types in community service research. Limitations of this study include the limited data coverage of the Scopus database and the lack of in-depth analysis on the content of each document. Recommendations for future research include expanding data coverage from various other sources and more in-depth analysis of document content. The results of this study are expected to be the basis for developing more effective policies and strategies in community service in the future.
