Economic Research Trends in Indonesia in The Last Five Years

This research aims to conduct a bibliometric analysis of the latest economic research literature relating to Indonesia. The method used is the PRISM (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) method which includes identification, screening, eligibility and inclusion of articles from the Scopus database. This analysis reveals publication trends, research focus, and scientific contributions to the development of economic theory and its application in the Indonesian context. The research results show that economic research in Indonesia covers various aspects, including macroeconomics and microeconomics, with a significant increase in research related to sustainability and the green economy. The COVID-19 pandemic resulted in a decline in research activity in 2020, but research activity recovered and even increased in the following years, reflecting the resilience of the academic community in facing the crisis. International collaboration, especially with Malaysia and the United Kingdom, also figures prominently in the geographic distribution of publications, indicating productive collaboration in the development of economic knowledge between countries. This analysis provides in-depth insight into the dynamics of economic research in Indonesia as well as real implications for the development of more effective and sustainable economic policies in the future
