Publication Ethics
Publication Ethics of the Journal of Community Global:
The Journal of Community Global is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics. Adherence to these ethical guidelines ensures the integrity of our publication and fosters collaborative efforts in the academic community. The key tenets of our publication ethics include:
- Fair Peer Review: Manuscripts are assessed based on their academic and intellectual content, without discrimination on the basis of race, gender, religious beliefs, ethnic origin, citizenship, or political philosophy of the authors.
- Plagiarism: The journal has a strict anti-plagiarism policy. All submissions are screened for plagiarism, and manuscripts found to have been plagiarized will be rejected or retracted.
- Duplicate Submission: Manuscripts that have been published elsewhere or are under review by another journal will not be considered for publication. Authors must declare any potential overlapping publications upon submission.
- Authorship: Authorship should be limited to those who have made a significant contribution to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the reported research. All authors should disclose financial or other conflicts of interest that might influence the results or interpretation of their manuscript.
- Data Integrity: Authors are responsible for the accuracy and authenticity of their research data. They may be asked to provide raw data related to their manuscript for editorial review.
- Citation Manipulation: Citation boosting practices, where citations are unnecessarily included to increase the citations of a given author’s work, are unethical and not allowed.
- Confidentiality: The editorial team and reviewers are bound by confidentiality and must not disclose any details about a submitted manuscript without permission.
- Conflict of Interest: All authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose any association that poses a conflict of interest in connection with the manuscript.
- Transparency: Any corrections, clarifications, retractions, or apologies will be promptly published as soon as an issue is identified, ensuring the transparency and integrity of the journal.
- Responsibility: The editor has a duty to act if they suspect misconduct or if an allegation of misconduct is brought to them. This duty extends to both published and unpublished papers.
The Journal of Community Global believes that ethical publishing leads to a better and more credible academic community. We seek the cooperation of all stakeholders, including authors, reviewers, and readers, to adhere to these standards for the betterment of scientific discourse.
